When you want to be healthier – but you’re not sure how to get there
Health Coaching might be just what you need.

Most of us know there are things we could – and should – be doing better when it comes to our health. It’s just not always easy to get it sorted!
Feeling better in ourselves can be life-changing. Having more energy and head space for whatever you enjoy doing, whether it’s time with the kids or grandkids, going out with friends, traveling or hobbies, leads to a more satisfying life.
Plus there are ‘lifestyle diseases’, long-term conditions that could be minimised if we improved how we live. These are conditions like stroke, diabetes, blood pressure, heart health and osteoarthritis. The things we can change that affect these diseases or their symptoms are factors like how much exercise we get, what food we eat, whether or not we’re overweight, how much sleep we get, and our stress levels.
Sometimes we’re not sure how to deal with those risk factors, and all the information out there can be overwhelming. Even if we have a good idea of what to do, it can be a real challenge to change things in our busy lives. That’s where coaching comes in.
What I do is help you to nail down what you want your health to look like, and why that’s so important to you. Then together we make a plan of how you can achieve that ideal. The plan is guided by me as a coach, but designed by you, so that it fits in to YOUR life. It’s a bit different to a sports coach – I’m not here to tell you exactly what to do and when, because there’s no one-size fits all, though I will help you out with information if you need it.
You can choose a one-off session or a programme. A single session will get you set up with your plan and initial goals, while a programme will start the same way but will continue to support you over the course of 8 weeks. We get together regularly (this can be in person, on Zoom or by phone) to help you make steady progress towards your goals, deal with any challenges and keep your motivation going, plus to provide some accountability! Over the course of a few months you’ll be able to get new habits installed as part of your daily life, making positive changes to your health and wellness and moving you towards your big picture goals.
Health coaching might be a good fit for you if:
- your health is really important to you
- you’re motivated to change
- you need someone to support you through that change.
Health coaching might NOT be for you if:
- you can make the changes you need on your own
- you want someone else to tell you exactly what to do and when to do it
- you’re not really bothered if you change or not.
It feels great to take charge of your health and make positive changes! You can get in touch here for more information – we can have a free chat about what you need and find out if this is the right fit for you.
